FVB Supports Harvest Soup Kitchen
First Volunteer Bank saw a need in its community and stepped up to offer support for the Harvest Soup Kitchen in Fentress County.

On behalf of the Ernie Pyle Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart I would like to express our appreciation to the manager and staff of the Hwy 58 Branch of First Volunteer Bank for putting on a Veterans Day lunch in the lobby of your bank on Friday, November 9th.

First Volunteer Bank unites to eliminate hunger in the 11 counties we serve by holding a company-wide community event called Tailgate-a-Palooza. Each year, we ask our employees and customers to bring in cans of food or monetary donations and invite everyone to stay for a fresh hamburger or hot dog with our staff.

First Volunteer Bank worked with Tennessee State Treasurer David H. Lillard, Jr. to return a missing Purple Heart medal to a soldier’s family.
